Did You Know Gatorbox? (Patreon)

I'm always working to improve the stream experience for viewers. Making content that is palatable for Twitch is different than YouTube, with Twitch you're always "on" so even when you have to toss to a break or whatever it's still important to keep the broadcast engaging. I recently rolled out some updates to the "Be Right Back" scene of the show that hopefully does just that.

Previously the BRB screen rolled through some random pictures, screencaps, fan art, and memey graphics referencing things from the show. It had been like this for quite some time though, like YEARS. I've always been meaning to improve "BRB" because it's one of those points where viewership can kind of stagnate and drop off. I'm not all about numbers, but I feel bad if something I'm doing fails to spur interest in someone.

Doing "trivia" was a suggestion and I put it on the back burner for a while. Now that we're live again and we're back on the air I've decided to start working through all these old ideas and "nice to haves" and whatnot. There is now nearly 100 pieces of Gatorbox trivia setup to display when we go to "BRB" on our Friday shows. Every piece of trivia has a corresponding image to go with it and right now most of it deals with either the Gatorbox stream/show specifically, GatorUNbox, or me (Dracokon). I'm trying to work in some more trivia about our guest hosts and other stuff to make it more complete and engaging.

But for now, ~100 things in the slideshow ain't that bad! You can see the new BRB trivia collection as part of our live shows every Friday night at 9PM (CST) on Twitch! :)
