A few years ago (probably like five by now fucking hell) we featured Dragonriders: Chronicles of Pern for the Dreamcast on our Friday night show. It was a very... interesting ordeal. The story of the game was laid out in a way that was interesting, however we never got anywhere. Before anything could happen we had to collect all of the dragon riders to have a meeting because one of the leaders had recently died and a replacement needed to be found. It was a very bureaucratic type of game and we ended the stream without so much as even the damn pow wow taking place.

Despite what I'd consider a failure of a main feature this game remained in the collective consciousness of the channel and a couple of years later after a couple of requests I brought the game back out to be played in full as a chill/hangout game. Not only did we make that stupid meeting happen, we beat the game! And the plot while dry at times was serviceable. The content of the game stayed very true to the source material which is something I appreciated as I've read about half of the books in the Pern series.

The total runtime of this playlist is just under 11 hours. Approximately 55% of the stream footage was cut from the final renders, consisting mostly of numerous loading screens and the same cutscenes of the fast travel option playing out over and over again. Likewise, me getting lost in caves or unnecessarily backtracking somewhere were also cut. This is a mostly linear playthrough with most of the side quests also completed. Audio levels are a little wonky but the game is subtitled thankfully so you can read along as I play.

Now then, like I said at the top of this post the link to these videos is not permanent. You can watch these streams in the here and now because they haven't yet debuted on the GB Plus channel on YouTube, however after all 11 videos have been uploaded the folder linked to in this post will be emptied. This is to make room for the next batch of videos bound for the Plus channel. When those videos are ready I will share the link to this folder again and you will be able to watch the newly uploaded ones for whatever comes next. I only get so much space with MEGA so I can't keep everything uploaded there. Besides, once these videos go on YouTube there is really no real reason to keep them on MEGA because if you want to watch them again... well, they're on YouTube now.
