Here is a simplified bestiary for PoH. I'll link this post in every chapter release of PoH, so readers can easily refer back to it if they find it necessary. Ideally you won't need the bestiary, but better to have it than not.

T2+ patrons will have access to a more in-depth bestiary in the future.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

All demons have a few common aspects of physiology:

- Eyes have red irises and black sclera

- Many have black tendril hair, but many also go bald, either by choice or as a species trait

- Skin is mostly black, with gradient shades of dark red where the skin is softer. Inner arms and thighs, stomach, throat, etc.

- Bodies are tougher, more leathery, and firmer, the darker the skin

- Skin grows more red and softer when aroused. Female genitalia opens and male genitalia emerges

- White teeth but black claws/talons/hooves/horns/spikes (if had)

Bat (Diloja)

- Mostly humanoid, but their arms are also their wings

- 5-6 feet tall

- 2 wings for arms

- raptorial feet

- no fingers, 1 thumb (bat wing anatomy)

- 2 small horns

- no tail

- A female-tilted species, they’re skinnier than most demons, and can almost fly, instead of merely gliding.

Brute (Devorjin)

- humanoid

- 8-9 feet tall

- no wings

- raptorial feet

- 3 fingers 1 thumb

- no horns

- no tail

- A male-tilted species, brutes are muscle-bound juggernauts. Extremely dark, durable skin. They cannot grow hair tendrils.

Gargoyle (Gorgala)

- humanoid

- 6-7 feet tall

- 2 wings

- raptorial feet

- 4 fingers 1 thumb

- 2 horns

- long smooth tail

- A female-tilted species, their wings are quite large and strong.

Gremlin/Gremla

- humanoid

- 4~ feet tall

- 2 wings

- hooved feet

- 2 fingers 1 thumb

- 2 horns

- no tail

Kinda cute, grems and imps both look perfectly pleasant until they show off their huge shark smiles. One of the few species that comes in both male and female forms/tilts. The pests of Hell.

- long skinny devil tail (ends in a tiny spade)

Minotaur (Borjin)

- humanoid

- A male-tilted species, they’re muscle-bound juggernauts, but built for lifting heavy things, not fighting.

Satyr (Riiva)

- humanoid, but no eyes

- 6~ feet tall

- no wings

- hooved feet

- 3 fingers 1 thumb

- 4 huge ram horns

- no tail

- A female-tilted species, riiva hop around on hooves and smash things with their horns. They’re one of the few species who have no eyes, a boneplate covering where eyes should be, and merging up to their foreheads and horns. They cannot grow hair tendrils. They prefer to speak Hellian, an effect of voice vibration affecting their vision and hearing.

Shark (Sarkarin)

- mostly humanoid, slightly dragon, and no eyes

- 9~ feet tall IF they stand up straight

- no wings

- raptor feet

- 4 fingers 1 thumb

- 2 huge bull horns

- huge tail

- A male-tilted species, sharks are deadly enforcers like brutes, but scarier and more animalistic. They have long flat heads like a shark, all black, and have no eyes. They cannot grow hair tendrils. They prefer to speak Hellian, an effect of voice vibration affecting their vision and hearing.

Spire Mother (Zotiva)

- humanoid

- 9~ feet tall

- 2 large, thin, spindly, bony wings

- hooves

- 4 regal crown-like horns

- 4 fingers 1 thumb

- somewhat short, thin smooth tail

- A female-tilted species, spire mothers take care of the eggs born within the depths of the spire.  They are tall and absurdly curvy. Their faces are solid black, lips and cheeks and chin included, which highlights their shark smiles. They prefer to speak Hellian, an effect of voice vibration affecting their vision and hearing.

Succubus/Incubus (Volara/Volarin)

- humanoid

- 6~ feet tall

- no wings

- human feet with short talons

- 4 fingers 1 thumb (short claws)

- 2 small horns

- long skinny devil tail (ends in a tiny spade)

- The succubi and incubi are the most human-like demons, absurdly beautiful and handsome, with hair tendrils so smooth they’re almost like regular hair. Their ears are slightly pointed, giving them an almost elf-like look. One of the few species that comes in both male and female forms/tilts.

Tetrad - Bolstara

- humanoid

- 10~ feet tall

- no wings

- hooved feet

- 4 fingers 1 thumb

- 4 huge horns

- no tail

- 4 arms

- A female-tilted species, Bolstara and Fujara are a balanced mix of beautiful and terrifying, and the only demons to have four arms since the children of the Old Ones. Bolstara have flat and smooth noses that make them look exotic and alien.

Tetrad - Fujara

- 4 huge horns

- long thin spiky tail

- A female-tilted species, Bolstara and Fujara are a balanced mix of beautiful and terrifying, and the only demons to have four arms since the children of the Old Ones. Uniquely, Fujara have four eyes.

- A male-tilted species, Gorujin and Korgejin are the largest winged males since the children of the Old Ones.

- humanoid

- 10~ feet tall

- 2 enormous wings

- 4 fingers 1 thumb

- 2 huge horns

- no tail

- A male-tilted species, Gorujin and Korgejin are the largest winged males since the children of the Old Ones.

Tiger (Tregeera)

- mostly humanoid, with a subtle cat-like shape to their skeleton

- 8~ feet tall (10~ feet long when on all fours)

- no wings

- raptorial feet

- 5 fingers 1 thumb (yes they have an extra finger)

- 2 horns

- long thick tail with many spine spikes

- A female-tilted species, one of the few demons who often walk on all fours, but are just as comfortable walking on their hind legs.

Vrat (Vratorin)

- humanoid

- 7-8 feet tall

- no wings

- raptorial feet

- 4 fingers 1 thumb

- 2 large horns

- long smooth tail

- A male-tilted species, a quintessential demon, and often the ‘face of Hell’ for the sort of demon humans expect to see in an army of Hell.
