Preview of the Future (Patreon)

I originally made this a T2+ post but now I'll make it public so everyone can see where this Patreon is headed.

I'm mixing up my workflow when I start The Pleasures of Hell. It's a pretty big deal and will drastically affect things for patrons.

Currently, my workflow is:
- 3 chapters of main series a month, patrons charged
- main chapters are a minimum of 13k words
- occasional bonus chapter, patrons not charged
- bonus chapters release randomly, as my schedule (and brain) permit, often 1 every 3-4 months

When PoH starts, that'll change to:
- Bonus chapters are gone: randomly sinking a few thousand words here and there into these when my schedule and brain allow really sucks for getting my brain to complete 'runs' of content. The bonus chapters ended up requiring massive amounts of re-reading and re-work to make them function. This burned me out.
- Chapter length for main series chapters will be increased from 13k min to 14k minimum. I have brain power left over when not doing bonus chapters, so now paid-for-content will be longer in length. I'll still put out 3 a month.
- Now that bonus chapters are gone, I'm losing the reason I had them in the first place: to give my brain a break from working on the same series and characters 24/7/365. To alleviate the issue, I'll be doing interludes when I'm done a book/part. Normally a book/part is 18~20 chapters, and that trend will continue, except now instead of jumping to the next book/part immediately, I'll be doing 2-3 interlude chapters, which T2+ patrons get to vote on.
- These new interlude chapters will be charged to patrons. I know patrons may not like this, so I'll be making sure that interlude chapters will either be for PoH or MLV (which I assume patrons would prefer over more An Inhuman Love shorts). If PoH, they'll be from a new PoV, so readers get to see Heaven/Hell from a different perspective, maybe even a perspective from a character the main story has as a side character (so not complete randoms like A Taste of Hell is, unless voters want that). If the interlude chapters are MLV, the sky's the limit. I could do some stuff from PoVs we already had, or maybe some new ones like Jessy or Elaine or Harcourt or Matt/Art. And I could evolve the setting a bit, maybe do some stuff in a cyberpunk future, who knows.

I'm still not sure about how to do MLV future content, if at all. I know a lot of people want it, but at the same time I know a lot of people would prefer I pump out more content for whatever series I'm currently on. And I don't plan on doing MLV content for forever. I don't own the IP, and while it's legally fine for me to release free content for it like I do, I'd still prefer to move on from someone else's IP eventually.

Thoughts? Likes/dislikes? You'll still be paying for a maximum of 3 stories a month with this new system. I can guarantee the quality of my content goes up with this new plan, but charging patrons for the interlude chapters might not sit well with them.
