Finally, shit starts to happen. I definitely meandered too much with the middle of Part 8, but now we're on track.

A bit of the next chapter went onto the end of this chapter, so it's a bit longer while the next chapter will be a bit shorter.

Ohh, so the split personality may not be Susanna but it could be her “relative” that she killed under the tree, interesting. Of course I could be way off🤷‍♂️. I agree this chapter is closer to what I expected during an early/mid part. One thing I noticed is that recently you have been clifhangering a lot of mid chapter perspectives. I don’t mind it at the end of a chapter but in this one in particular you left two, Jack and Nat.

With 6 PoVs, I can't avoid cliffhangers like that. I've tried and it makes for some weird pacing. My next series will only have 2 PoVs, so it should be far less an issue.

Yes, he's still officially an Invictus. The Lancea et Sanctum aren't really 'alive' yet. Takes a long time to get a covenant going.
