Just an update so people know what's going on.

An Inhuman Love 5 is at 11.5k words, and AIL 6 is at 7.2k. I write these in my spare time, while MLV I write fulltime, so AIL gets done pretty randomly, depending on how much writing power I have left in my brain throughout the week.

MLV continues as planned. The more I sit down and flesh out the details of the plot leading toward the end goal (the end goal having been something I've been working toward since I resumed/rebooted MLV with Part 3). We'll get another 2 Parts at minimum, but knowing me, it'll probably be 4. Parts 5 and 6 currently live were actually supposed to be 1 part, but I never estimate word count very well.

Assuming 3 more parts, and assuming 18 chapters per part, MLV will probably get another 54 chapters, give or take; most likely give. I wouldn't be surprised if I end up writing 4 parts, and more chapters. I'm guessing 2 more years of writing MLV. There's a lot of story angles to tie up, from Jack's curse, to the Carthian's movement with Terra Den, to the Uratha dealing with the 1 remaining Azlu, to the 3 spirits Black Blood, Street-Tail King, and Red Tide, to the rumors about Maria, to Clara's interest in Jack (yes, I haven't forgotten about this), to Azamel and Jeremiah, and Angela of course. And there's Sándor, which adds another element (though he won't be a PoV. I'm sticking with the 6 PoVs I have now, except for maybe a bonus chapter?). And of course, there's the big hidden 'uh oh' going on in the background.

You may notice the occasional 'Future Series' post, which is me talking about which series I'll be writing after MLV, and planning/fleshing out during MLV. It'll be at least 150 chapters long, each chapter around 14k words, so 2 million words (or 20 normal-sized novels, minimum). That means I have to plan it out and flesh out the setting quite thoroughly, before I get working on it. MLV I created using Vampire: the Requiem (a setting ruleset, property of White Wolf and Onyx Path), but my next series will be my own property, which means instead of using V:tR source material as inspiration for my characters/events, I have to make my own. I'm more than confident I can do that, but it won't be quick or easy; I need time to do it.

In order to have the time I need to plan out my next series, I'll be working on it during MLV. This will not affect my MLV release schedule, but it does mean I need to know which series to work on sometime during MLV Part 7. During MLV Part 7, I will be putting up a vote for T2+ patrons, to decide which series comes next. That'll give me the 1-2 years I need to make sure the next series has a solid foundation.

It'll either be a very Gothic paranormal horror set in a fantasy setting similar to pre-Victorian London, or an epic fantasy adventure set in Hell. Sexy monster times abound in either case. Once I know which one I'll be working on, I'll release posts for all patrons every so often, describing the setting in various ways as I work on it. This way, it won't be such a jarring switch to go from one series to another. I know some people will leave once MLV is complete, and that's ok, but the more people I can get on board with the next series before MLV ends, the better.

You just made my day

Honestly, Novus I really like your work and I love MLV, but yeah I totally agree you should make more money off this and the characters should be your own. So yeah can’t wait to see what you come up with.

Thanks! I don't know if I'll do anything with my next series other than Patreon, but you never know. Some fellow Patreon authors do re-buffed versions of their stories for Amazon and such.
