Happy Hunger Games! Please enjoy this beautiful and fascinating prequel, with great nods to the original franchise, and some wonderful performances. Would we expect anything less from such a fantastic cast? (Also, "The Hanging Tree" was stuck in my head for DAYS after I watched this). A perfectly dystopian return to a spectacularly dystopian world. May the odds be ever in your favor.

The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes Full Length Reaction

A gently flawed, but fascinating prequel, with great nods to the original franchise, and some wonderful performances. Would we expect anything less from such a fantastic cast?

At the beginning of Part III, I think you were confusing the tribute who got away during the arena bombing (who they strung up when the games started and was killed by an axe to the neck) and Sejanus, Snow's "best friend," whose father bought him entrance into the academy and out of trouble multiple times. The two look similar, and both of them were from District 2.

Somewhere, someone pointed out that only President Snow and his cousin Tigress are the only 2 people alive that ever met both female victors of the 75 Hunger Games by the end of the story.
