Note about Die Hard 2 (Patreon)

A quick heads up, while I'm thinking about it! I will be posting Die Hard 2 on YouTube for Christmas this year, but there is a caveat. For the very few of you that were around this time last year, you may recall some early speed bumps I had on the channel, one of which was my switch to Final Cut Pro. Die Hard 2 was the first movie I edited in FCP, and while I learned some valuable lessons, it was a disaster, and the short version is that I wound up losing most of my work. I was eventually able to recover some of it, but by that point, it seemed more timely to wait and release it during the next holiday season. I'm going to post it on YouTube soon, but because of the issues I encountered, I don't actually have all the footage, and can't do a full length version. I only have what I was able to salvage of the edit.

I wanted to let you know, just in case you're wondering why it shows up on YouTube, but there's no full length version available here. I'm not trying to short change you guys, it's just a matter that I don't have it. It's been so strange to look back on it though, since it was literally only the second video I ever filmed solo. It feels like a lifetime ago!
