Another movie of her's where she shines (IMO), even if she's only has a supporting role in, is Simon Pegg's 2008 movie ''How to Lose Friends & Alienate People'' For the brief moment she's on screen, she stole the scenes in ''This is 40''. I think one can safely say that the world wasn't ready for this masterpiece in 2009. Tbh I had watched it only the one time before but I do remember loving every moment of it. At no point, you can predict what's gonna happen. And even if you do guess, the movie does it in a way which would totally surprise you. I really wish this movie had worked back in the day and then today we would have seen Megan Fox doing more roles like these. I recently saw her in Rogue and Till Death and I loved her performances. She also did a little cameo in the Netflix movie Night Teeth and you can see this Jennifer's side of her in that role. But alas, it is just a cameo. Sigh. Anyway, I loved watching it again with you. And your jaw dropping reactions were just funny.

Yeah, though it seems she's having a bit of a revival, as the world is starting to realize how crappy it treated young women around that time. I hope we get to see more great stuff from her 😄

It's definitely fascinating watching this now, knowing that it bombed in 2009. I also fully acknowledge that I probably wouldn't have appreciated it back then. So as disappointed as I am to have waited so long to watch it, I'm glad because now I can properly enjoy it. I also agree it's awful we didn't get to see her shine more like this, and it's sad she had to become an example of how badly young female stars were treated at that time, even though it made for an incredible cultural conversation. It's just unfortunate that it was necessary. And thank you! Part of me felt bad that I wasn't saying more, but I just couldn't pick my jaw up off the floor to speak 😂
