Also loved the Jeffrey Pierce supporting role here. He was the voice for Tommy in the game and plays the second in command for the hunters in this episode.

Loved the addition of Kathleen to the story. It really introduces the theme of the whole game in a much less subtle way, that being not your typical Good vs Evil storyline, but rather what IS good and what IS evil!! Joel and Ellie had a similar conversation in the game where she asks if Joel killed innocent people or not, but the addition of Kathleen's story really drives that theme home. Also, did you know that Gutsavo Santaolalla also did the music for the game? The main theme is the same, and his use of ambient music is also in the game. So glad he won the award for Outstanding Music Composition in a Series in 2023 for this. I saw someone mentioned that the actor who plays Perry was the original voice actor for Tommy in the game. Did anyone also mention that the Actor who plays Marlene was also the voice actor for Marlene in the game? We will also get appearances from Troy Baker (voice actor for Joel in the game) and Ashley Johnson (voice actor for Ellie in the game). It would have been criminal if those 3 didnt have a part in this TV series. You continue to impress me with all the little things you pick up on. You have even shown me some things that I have missed, and I consider myself a bit of an expert about the game and the show since I have played the game at least a dozen times, and I have watched the series around a half dozen times. If I were to offer any suggestion it would be this.......consider watching with the subtitles turned on. That way, there would be less of a chance that you might miss a detail while you are sharing your own thoughts. Not a criticism. Just a suggestion.
