(just noting) I found this reaction series as Ep. 5 is being released, but I'm binging it out starting here ;-) I'm here for a few reasons. I'm here due to the reactions of a remarkable reactor whose taste, intellect, and knowledge (Jacquie) has delighted me (both for; Ted Lasso & Sense8). I'm here due to the simple dumb luck of following another non-gamer, yet great Orphan Black reactor's happenstance to try reacting to 'The Last Of Us' - introducing me to a series I believe may be one of my top 10 TV series of all time. Finally, I'm here to participate in/with what I hope will be a deeply invested group of enthusiasts. Now, Jacqui... I believe the city where Joel, his brother Tommy and his wonderful daughter, Sarah, were as the story begins is Austin, TX. (though Joel and Tommy must have migrated to Boston sometime after infection day) I always appreciate your heart Jacqui and I see here that it took less than 15 minutes for you to show feelings for Sarah. Watching once before, I hadn't noticed how the LACK of music was used so effectively. With this first episode we already have a fairly developed world and much of it has been understood. I just want to clarify that Joel's partner is named 'Tess', the young girl is 'Ellie', and the leader of the Boston Quarantine Zone Fireflies (QZ) was 'Marlene.' Everything about this episode is top-shelf... the production, the acting, the cinematography... BUT, as with everything you seem to land on Jacqui, "it's the writing"...the 'writing' is... well... as good as it gets. For me. this was a fantastic 1st episode reaction!

Thank you! I 100% agree, this may well be one of the best shows of all time, and we're only five episodes in. I fully believe that this show will be taught in film schools, and for good reason!

Hi. I know I am late to the party. Sorry. The Last of Us is my all time favorite video game ever, and I loved your reaction to the BoB series, so I had to watch this one too. I don't know if you have ever watched any playthroughs of The Last of Us game on YT, but I highly suggest you do. It would be even better if you played it yourself. That would be a blast to watch. If you ever do give the game a try or watch it being played on YT, please, do NOT venture into the The Last of Us part 2 yet. Not until you have watched the 2nd season. I will just leave it at that! I cant wait to watch the rest of the reaction!!! :)
