I have tried to record direct projection from my headset,. This is as close to 3d recording i can get. Let me know if it something someone would like, i can try to make few more videos like this.

Sadly there are no tools that i know about that would allow recording of 180 or 360 video in Virt-a-Mate.
So its either the above or nothing for now.

Makes sense. It's not terrible. IMHO after I finally loaded up Virt-a-Mate and started using your scenes there was no going back. More scenes I say! You know, at your own pace. Mirrors + possession = the pro move.

How did you do this? I'm fumbling around with recording the SteamVR output. Interesting to see what you did. Looks very good!

there is an option to mirror view from your headset to your screen in Steam VR setting. I will simply pop a window which will show exact projection from your headset. I just stretched it fullscreen and recorded that.

yeah then we do the same. I put the output of that monitor it records on 4096x2160, although it's a 1080p monitor and then let Shadowplay record the mirrorscreen. So works quit well. but not perfect, Quite small sweetspot I would say. Think something natively is needed. Buúúúúúúút for some who want to watch something selfmade on the Go or Quest it's good enough!
