W2H2 Animation (Patreon)

Most of these shots will probably look familiar, if you've been a patron for awhile.  

Most of them  were still in pretty early roughs, so I dug back in and filled them out some more.  But the first one in this batch is interesting, 'cause it's actually the first shot I ever animated on W2H2.  I normally wouldn't go back and change the acting for a shot I've already done, but in this case, the line got changed and Jonathan's acting didn't match the new line.  But then when I went in to change just that part, it became really obvious that his model has changed pretty drastically since I started, and like... idk, the hair just looked COMPLETELY fucking different.  It was weird for him to kind of pop back and forth between how I used to draw him and how I currently draw him, so I went in and just... cleaned up bits of it (mostly his hair LOL) to match the current drawings.

And I had never really nailed Sock's acting down to begin with, so I got to finally figure out how that would look.  I had Jon poking him initially but that's always bothered me because... how.  So I had a lot of fun figuring that out.  Anyway, I spent an absurd amount of time with this shot, so that's why there wasn't much output this month.  But I think it'll be worth it!  It's a key moment.   (if anyone's interested, I could put them side by side so you can see what changed... I think that might be fun!)
