DDR - Rage and Emi (Patreon)

I've been getting back into playing DDR lately, and the arcade I go to just updated to Supernova, which is fine, but all the characters' have been redesigned so they don't look like hideous anime people anymore, and it made me a little nostalgic for when they were hideous anime people.  With those giant square shoes and low-poly fingerless lego-people hands and gross DBZ hair.  The were ugly but they were I C O N I C.  Anyway, Reiji was always my boi, and Emi is a close second.  

Also come to think of it, I really liked that the game always paired up characters and made you pick them as a set in 2player mode.  Like I know the characters aren't much more than avatars, but it was cute that they wouldn't let you separate the dancing partners.  Just kind of a way to endear you to them I think!
