Demo 1.0 Fix and Patch Update (Patreon)

Hey Everyone! 

I'm happy to say download restrictions for Demo 1.0 have finally been resolved! (See the bottom of the release post for some more detailed instructions on how to get the Demo up and running)

However, we have realized that nearly all options we currently have to distribute the demo will have quite hefty wait times for those downloading (to the tune of multiple hours):/ 

So, after some debate, we've decided to take a direct-from-Steam approach from now on. This will come with Much Improved download times, a more straightforward download & play experience for everyone, and, as a bonus for us, a much easier way for us to verify everyone who downloads the Demo!

Unfortunately, there is a bit of a catch in the form of verification delays from Steam. We aren't sure yet exactly how long these delays will take, but we are estimating in the range of 1-7 days. 

(Important Bit) 

This won't affect the current Demo 1.0 build (which will be hosted on Mediafire), but it will extend the planned Demo 1.1 patch release a few days to a week (originally planned for November 1st). Hopefully though, this will mean a much more streamlined experience for everyone that wants to bug test in the future! :)

A side but also important note: We've decided (unfortunately)to skip this week's weekly update while we prepare for Demo 1.1, work on team expansion, and get our feet wet with demo build distribution on Steam. I as the Dev ask for everyone's patience in the coming week while we sort everything needed out and comb through everyone's Demo 1.0 bug reports. And I look forward to a content-packed update for you all this upcoming Monday!
