A few things to keep in mind for the alpha coming later today: Please read fully

• First and most importantly: This is not the finished game. There will be bugs sound/clipping/performance/crash related. But hopefully no lighting bugs (one exception below).

• Unfinished performance mode: In the settings menu there is a Lumen performance mode which utilizes baked lighting instead of the fully dynamic Lumen lighting the game was built on. This will in the future bring much better framerates for lower end PCs (around 2x increase) but for the time being it is still in development and will not help much with performance and also have some lighting and GI issues. 

• Performance: Performance on the current level is not as good as expected right now. This WILL be significantly improved in the near future. (Before the next alpha) The drop in frames comes from some object optimization that still needs to be done. 

• Size: Even though this is the first part of the alpha with only one level, assets from other levels are stored in the packed game which increases the size a decent amount. As of now the size of the file is about 40GB and will only get bigger as the alpha continues. Just something to keep in mind when you're going to download the game, and when the next alpha downloads become available. 

• Mechanics development: Mechanics and puzzles development and tweaks/changes are still very much happening and any changes that you would like to see would be greatly appreciated. There will be a forum in discord and weekly posts on here to talk about this.

How to download: This should be pretty straightforward. There will be a MEGA link in the Alpha post where you'll be able to download the file in your browser and then open and play the ".exe" file. Everything should be smooth here.

• Mac Support: As of now Lumen does not work on Mac. So the future of Mac supported Alpha releases will use baked lighting as soon as it's fixed and working.
