Hi guys! I bring you a little D&D side project I've been working on. Well, it's more of a nsfw spin off to that project 😅

A while back I ran a D&D one shot in which the main character is the chosen one of the Entity that is a deity of the island they live on.

The main prerogative of the Entity was to expand its being and pierce Its will through all of the animated and not animated beings. The Island itself was the Entity itself and various things that got stuck to it. First the water the Entity was in got assimilated, then all the beings around it, soon the sands and various debris that got stuck to Its body. For centuries the Island grew and prospered. Plants and small animals were now just an extension of the Entity's body. Their natural instinct to multiply and expand further into the ocean got amplified. Traveling they all served as the new senses of the Entity.

Throughout history, different species got Assimilated into the Entity's body. From the humanoids - Tritons and Water Genasi were the first ones. They lived harmoniously with the Island and prospered through centuries to come.

For the longest time the will of the Entity was interpreted by a devoted cult of Genasi nuns that were the unspoken leaders of the whole Island. They had the last word in everything up until the new races discovered their home.

Humans discovered the floating Island in the middle of the ocean. Its resources - not plenty but the location of it very advantageous. They decided to create a colony there and build a port in which traders could stop and take a break from the capricious waters.

The Island itself saw it as an opportunity to expand its senses further, but by that time the nuns already had their own interpretation of what the Island wanted. They disliked the idea of the newcomers and their over-exploitation of the already sparse resources. They began to plan on how to discourage humans from settling down. Their magic - a source of most of the freshwater on the Island, was withdrawn and life on the Island began to weaken.

Blinded by their mission they omitted the damage they caused to the Island themselves, preaching that the Island will heal Itself once the Humans would be gone.

At the same time the Island, in Its natural instinct to expand, extended its power towards the humans and the first chosen was created. A criminal sentenced to death by being thrown into the inescapable cave. His name was Lobetzno. In that cave, unbeknownst to the people,  the ancient magic of the Entity was the strongest. His mind for a moment merged with the Island which granted him powers he hadn't dream of. Shape shifting into animals, the Island already assimilated, he got out of the cave and driven by the instinct and the haziness of his memories, he began his journey of figuring out what to do next.

On his journey he learns about the stances everybody has on the human/natives situation and decides to confront the cult of the Island - Genasi nuns to perhaps change their mind.
During the meeting he discovers that the cult already lost their ways and are blindly following the leader who is not even in tune with the Island desires. He proves he’s the chosen by sharing the knowledge only the cult should have known, and adds even more on top of it. This leads to the shift in the leadership and the nuns who already had different views from their leader switch sides to follow the new Chosen.

With the new view on what the Island’s needs are, the Cult changes its ways, the freshwater begins to flow again and everybody joins the conversation on how to coexist together and not over-exploit the Island itself.

The spin off is a nsfw take on how the criminal Lobetzno who suddenly became the Cult leader navigates having a group of very devoted members, giving in to his desires and the ever living instinct of the Entity to expand~ 😏🔥

I started to design the outfits for the nuns, they were supposed to be inspired by the nun Jean~

I gave a try to some flowy ideas inspired by the seaweed, pearls and coral reefs.  I think the upper right corner could be a nice design for a ceremonial worshiping in nature.

Since 3 out of the 20 cultist got already dominated by the Chosen, I wanted to make a little celebratory picture~ Here's the process!

What a cool campaign concept. Wonderfully spicy art to go with it as well :)

Did you do any practice sketches for the blue cultist in the middle ?
