Snowy Kigurumi & warm ups (Patreon)

Hi guys!  I have been holding onto a few pages that predated finishing of this piece so you can see how it came to be alongside the result itself~ Every goodie bag sketch starts the same, that is - thumbnailing. I love to make those small pieces to figure out the composition I'm going to go with. It is not glamorous but it saves so much time. There's no need to correct the composition over and over again on a big piece of paper when you already have it figured out on a micro scale~

All of the thumbnailing here was done during one of our Discord server streams, and as you can see we had quite a few ideas on what kind of onesies the gang could be wearing! 

This page has nothing to do with the finished piece but as I was working on this project I was doing some parallel exercise on perspective. Let me tell you, it is not easy to come up with the imaginary perspective without a proper warm up and knowledge. I felt brave after watching a new video of Stan Prokopenko on two point perspective, so I gave it a try~

On the top left you can see a final thumbnail of the drawing I was planning to do. After checking once again on the full description of January's theme, I've noticed that none of the previous compositions were serving the topic - "Snowy Kigurumi - SFW, Cozy gang asleep in frost loving animal onesies" 😅 I completely forgot what the vibe was suppose to be! After adjusting - this thumbnail worked perfect ✨

This was originally the first page I did on the perspective practice. In the end I filled the gaps with the ideas for poses I wanted to use for a future big project = v = I'm planning to make a jacket hanger from plywood that will depict Demon Fili in scale 1:1. It is a very ambitious project so I'm not rushing into it right away but I'm super stoked for the future! 

And here is our gang I a cute fluffy cuddle pile for you straight from the scanner and an initial edit to get rid of the dust that lingered on the page! Can you identify the animals they are? 😏
