Hi guys! If took me a bit longer than expected to sit down and scan these fellas. I've decided to upload them in batches to not spam your inboxes 😉

This whole challenge was for sure a very humbling experience. I worked with ink and gold before so I had a backup of confidence left to start this project. Yet as I actually sat down to it I realized I still lack nuance in my lines. I wanted the pictures to look more dynamic yet they ended up stiff and in some way hollow. I'm really grateful for all the points that were brought to my attention while drawing these. One of the biggest lessons I took from it is that there will be always something new to learn, some new skill to master or an old one to revisit. I got out of my comfort zone which prepped me for a different challenge I put in front of myself in the upcoming weeks - gouache.

I love thumbnailing! Instead of working big scale and figuring out the composition, I draw in micro-scale. It's fast, reliable and lets me fail quicker which saves me so much time in the long run!

ffffuuuuuccckkkk i love your gold pieces - the three on my wall from like half a decade ago are still the jewels of my art collection
