You already seen the storyboard last month so the story is as expected. Yolka was cleaning up *the mess* he made from eating andra and thought he can get away with it, who knows a very annoyed-because-she-can't-sleep mom appear. What an awkward situation! Your mom witnesses you taking care of the remnants of the war!! Bed war //cough

he's really dedicated house husband. Or house wife. He can do both, our yolka. Author would like one of him too TT

anyway, yolka's mom is usually a very cheerful and bubble person but she is weak to tears when it comes to yolka, as she felt she has done an absolutely unforgivable thing to him. As yolka's EPD worsen, they can no longer taking care of him and decided to let professional and proper caretaker handle him. But she knows yolka feels like as they had thrown him away--and she couldn't forgive herself for that. Thus everytime she think of him or meet him, she often suddenly cry. Her intrusive thought is that of guilt to yolka TwT

Because she feels like she is a failure of a mother and yolka would never forgave her, she only wishes yolka to be happy and "lower" her standard a lot. Yolka's mom is actually really the type andra thought she is, the wicked mother-in-law who slap blank check for her son's lover "take this money and leave!"

of course, her trick is far more creative than that. She also sometimes play-acting with yolka-papa and let the 'lover' know yolka has some kind of problem or massive red flag (to test them), sending money, sending handsome guys and girls to seduce the said lover, etc etc basically making a lot of 'test', truly a hell-made mother in law 🤣🤣🤣🤣

This is also why yolka's lovers never last. He used to date only girls before fall for gulla and then meet andra. Yolka's young fuckboi self also sang in tune with his mother, "If they can fall for my mom's trickeries then they're not that good for me/really in love with me/not my fate after all." And soon find a new lover 😭😭 That's why you got karma and left unlaid for a decade, yolka. You're such a nasty bish 😭😭//slap yolka

Yolka's mom always wanted someone stable and mentally strong like andra. I didn't get the chance to add it here but she's very excited when she heard about andra's deed from niel, someone who can handle yolka's rut and his manic-instinct mode and still stay with him, cool as cucumber. Also that he fight with gulla 😭😭 mom is a fan. I imagine the first time she saw andra she immediately read his face fengshui and only focus on all the good thing. "hmm.. not too pretty nor enchanting.. good. His head shows he likes to think and his mouth says he can kept a secret, his overall face.. even though he couldn't keep up much money in his whole life, but he will live honestly. Good.." 😂😂😂😂 i imagine she's like that!

Yolka's mom speech in this chapter, actually is a lot relatable to my life. I make this comic using all sort of life experience and knowledge i had so far (like, yolka is teaching in economy-management major; i'm a management major) ; yolka had horror filming company (I like listening to horror movie review and this one production house really inspires me.. yes, blumhouse! Hahaha, yolka used same business model as them..); andra writes novel because I enjoyed reading one; basically you can use your life to create familiar stories.. what yolka's mom said is what my mom said to me. I'm pretty old and still quite far from marriage and while she envied her friends from having grandchildren, she always said she only want someone to accompany me. Didn't want me to be alone when she is gone. At first when I was making the scene I didn't thought about it much, only imagining how yolka's mom would feel and it suddenly clicks, "oh. So my mom feel like this." And immediately feel blessed because you can only think this way if they are really care about you. The bar is so low but with best thought on mind. It's kinda funny that I get to understand her a bit from my own character :')) this story is not self-insert though, just me using all sort of interest I have and use it on my characters!

There's also a little unexplained thing in this ep (yolka able to hug his mom and his mom can handle it) let's see if i can make some kind of reason next ep 🤣let's cover the hole! In the plot hole!

that's all from me, sorry if this comes late because i'm in another trip *again* right now in japan For 2 weeks. Today is the mark of 1 week and finally I get to finish the chapter TT I actually want to finish it faster but I walk 15.000 to 22.000 steps everyday here and immediately died when I touch the bed 🥲🥲 so happy this finally finished!!!! I usually only walk 300-1500 step everyday back home (((((extremely sedentaryyyy)))) because i'm only sitting down and draw hahahah. I'm going alone and while it kinda sad everyone I see is going with either friends, siblings, or partner, strolling alone actually gives me peace of mind. It's pretty good.

So thank you for waiting for me!! And this chapter to be done! I'll start making next chapter when I reach home in early december. Expect one chapter :) Thank you so much and wishing you to stay warm and healthy, because it's rainy and cold both in my city and the place i'm now. Drink a lot of water and take vitamins, eat good and enough food, take enough rest.
