Super glad you got around to reviewing this. Just became a "Patron" to enjoy more of your reviews. Was stuck on either getting the sanskrit or the M6 but since I am going to be using headphones and not having to turn on my amp for my speakers to use my headphones is perfect for me. Have you ever listened to the KEF q300's?

I own the SMSL M6 and really like it, but I still can't find the official drivers download page, its annoying as hell. If you know where it is please link it in your description, and I will love ye forever!

So here is the thing. The driver for the Sanskrit is all I had needed since it was already installed and when i search out the URL it takes me here <a href="http://www.smsl-audio.com/c1378.html" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://www.smsl-audio.com/c1378.html</a> and tells me it isn't a page. Ive searched for it on my PC but I don't know what the name of the installer would be.

Some strange chinese characters is what I would say. Due to the fact that some people complain that they cant install it due to that. The site was up a few days ago but it looks like it is down.

AudioEngine D1; SMSL M6; Fostex HP-A3, AUNE X1s or Mayflower O2/Odac ? I just whant to know in terms off sound quality nothing else. I whant to use it only for PC games and on Spotify 320kbps. Can you please help me, i really need your final word! I have some AKG K550 MKII and some ATD AD-700 and DT990 pro 250ohms Just one final work i can get the SMSL M6 for about 150,00€ dollars on Europe. Thanks

The X1s is my first pick there. Then the Fostex and O2. M6 and D1 last but really we are talking about "feelings" of quality difference.

Well feelings is all that matters! Since my ATH AD-700 and my AKG K550 MKII are low impedence, will i have any problem in drive them since the Aune X1s have a 10ohms start impedance? In terms off soundstage the Aune X1S is the best off all your DAC'S? Thank you one more time dude.

The X1s dac is pretty top tier. I think it can handle the 700's no issue but the K550 might want a bit more power. I usually drive everything with it if I can and it has line outs so I have my huge headphone amp on that.

Z, i guess something is wrong... Both the ATH AD-700 and the AKG K550 are only 32ohms and you say that they "might want a bit more power"? But this runs with 300ohms cans with now problem. I do not think that's what you meant to say right? In terms off soundstage the Aune X1S is the best off all your DAC's for 300 dollars right?

Yes at $300 it is one of the best. The hint the K550 might need more power is just what you say for all AKG. They always have a bit lower efficiency reguardless of the 32Ω.

Resistance doesn't dictate the whole story of "needing power" The T50rp Mk3's are 50Ω but still need a TON of power to run properly because their efficiency rating is low (db/w). So I was just guessing that the AKG550 might need more power then the 700 even though they are the same Ω rating.

Ok, now i get it ty. I am going to take your advice and buy the AUNE X1S. Final question then, do you think that i am going to have any problem driving headphones like the HD650 or the AKG 712 Pro on the Aune X1S, what i am trying to ask is if i am going to take the very best off those headphones with the Aune? BTW i am now listening to Chris Cornell - Songbook Album (great advice) Ty.

greetings, i recently bought the smsl m6, and i have a weird problem. I have the Phillips SHP9500 and the momentum 2, when i plugged them into the smsl i hear music only from left ear. Any suggestions? i re installed the drivers, i tried different pc. thank you in advance!
