Ages ago I had Shure IEMs and a tip got lodged in my ear canal (don't know about current Shures but old-school ones had a terrible smooth, unnotched nozzle design). Anyway, the nearest ENT clinic was closed (in Japan clinics choose one mid-week day to close). The next clinic I found was open... but not an ENT. Eventually, I found an ENT clinic and had the doc pull it out. But not before I spent a good hour freaking the F out. So, I don't care how good they sound or how affordable they are. (And Blue Tack is not a solution.) No... effing... way.

Please give us more infos on the source of the cable you are using with the BL 05, make model and where one can buy .Thanks for the blue tacks trick. By the way, I’m in love with my BL 03 and when I heard on your channel that Blon announced the BL 05, I pre-ordered them about a month ago and I can’t wait listening to them after this review. I also bought the Thieaudio Voyager 3 and enjoy them very much. But I can’t resist coming back to the BL 03 when the music is well recorded. These present music, ambiance and boogie in an ultra engaging way, but when the recording is poor, I prefer the Voyager 3.Cheers

Here is a 3-star review on Linsoul (the only revew as of 5/31/20): OH THE MADNESS -- SoulD on May 13, 2020 This is not an upgrade to the 03's, it's a whole new different tuning signature, not warm, nor bright, balanced with a slight bass elevation, and a rolled off treble, and mids do have some detail, but there's no weight in them, making it a truly boring set for me. But if you're into something like the Tin HiFi T2's, this might be up your alley way.

WTF? That could happen with ANY IEM's that do not fit you ear. I had same problem with a Sennheiser's once all it took is my girl with tweezers to solve it. There's always a possibility jamming it in to far and yanking it to harsh, causing tip to stick in there. If that's you major problem than keep away from IEM's in general.

Thank you for this review. Two days later they were in my house. Some guy wanted to get rid oft hem because they did not fit him. So bought it very cheap second hand, slammed a couple of Dekoni's on them, connected Tripowin gold cable on them and they were a dream to listen to. Compared them to my "old" 1More Quad drivers and found out that that was more dynamics and tight bass.

Um... I don't think my comment required a WTF. I guess I didn't put any smiley faces so it was hard to tell that I was reminiscing about a silly memory of having silicon stuck in my ear. Yes, I realize that this could happen with any IEM. However, I've since had many pairs of IEMs and haven't the problem to the same degree. I was writing a little exaggeratedly. But I'll admit that using blue tack isn't very appealing to me. I'm not as DIY warrior as Z ;-)
