The TaxMan Cometh. . . (Patreon)

So Patreon informs me (and everyone) that they will now have to collect tax from qualifying PATRONS (they already collect from me) Starting June 1st 2020, because 2020 has been stellar so far.

So that means you guys might see a bump in your $5, $10 $30+ pledges based on sales tax in your area. You see It is only applicable if you live in a certain state, zip code, country that counts Patreon as a taxable thing AND if they can work out based on the description of my tier benefits if that tier qualifies as a taxable benefit. VAT may already mean you are paying. No added fees for you guys.. I think.

I made sure to go over the descriptions to make them as accurate as possible so nobody is taxed incorrectly. I am not sure how this is going to affect you guys. I have also not heard anything like this coming from my SubscribeStar but I imagine all platforms like this will eventually have to conform to these new regulations.

I thank you all for the support and hope they don't mess you all up too bad. If you want, comment on this post the change in fee and where you live (roughly) to better get an idea of who is getting it the worst.
