The renowned ATH-M50's http://amzn.to/1bdAmQ5 are a "must hear" headphone. They top nearly everyone's recommendations list and I wanted to find out if I made a big mistake going with my Brainwavz HM5's over these. As the last 2 weeks have shown me, I did not. I would gladly take the NVX XPT100's http://amzn.to/17WbrdT over the M50's for Casual/Pleasure listening. Buy these ONLY if you are mixing/mastering music or want a straight up Beats alternative.
