Very Cool, that price is nice. I was convinced on the 660s for gaming. Would these be better or worse due to the smaller sound stage or are they comparable?

from what i gather, wide soundstage plus bass = fun, where less soundstage but accurate imaging = pro gaming hearing footsteps etc. i generally prefer less soundstage for gaming.

I believe the Alara are a brainwavz version of the same headphone the quad ERA-1 is based off. ERA-1 ($800 on amazon) was inner fidelity’s product of the year 2018, so this might be an absolute bargain

also if you order now, with the discount zeos provides it actually drops the price to $359 at least it did for me, but considering the price i may end up just getting dekoni blues love how they sound on the demo. also gives me an excuse to upgrade amps :)

I am too but these are completely different, planar vs dynamic and one is aiming for wide soundstage while this is narrow so it wouldnt hurt to have both for different things.

Id say they are comparable. Both have similar in your face sound signatures and the soundstage is enough that it works for both fun and serious gaming.
