You will note I put the Sub first and the amp second because those are things I can ACTUALLY recommend. Sunfire's rep with me dropped a notch.

I commented this on the YouTube video but I think It's important to put this here too. CITES has put the entire genus that rosewood belongs to on appendices 2. If you buy or sell these internationally they could be seized by the government if you don't file paperwork. I'll find the link to it later. Packages are checked around 22 pounds so these have a high chance of being seized. Something like the fostex ebony th-x00 may be light enough to make it past customs but you may still want to file the paperwork.

I started designing a DIY speaker with a ribbon tweeter this big. Would never have worked well as the cancelations when mounted on the same axis just caused problems. I would say this is why they mounted the cone drivers on the sides.

I think that tweeter was the same one as I was going to use.<a href="http://www.daytonaudio.com/index.php/loudspeaker-components/loudspeaker-drivers-by-series/specialty-drivers/pt2c-8-planar-tweeter.html" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://www.daytonaudio.com/index.php/loudspeaker-components/loudspeaker-drivers-by-series/specialty-drivers/pt2c-8-planar-tweeter.html</a>

You know what, I may just build a set of DIY speakers to do these tweeters justice. Because I'm bored and have nothing better to do with my spare time.

It will do 50's and 40's well but 30's you really don't FEEL it. And since it is so tiny it has to be up in your face or perfectly placed around a room.
