Saw this at the movies when it came out. Def not as many people in the theater as when broly came out but me and my girl enjoyed it for what it is.

In case you didn't get the foreshadowing. Calling Piccolo, a demon King Piccolo was foreshadowing for his red-eyed "Orange" form. This was foreshadowing for Beast Gohan as they had the "Same Power," implying something was beyond Mystic.

Nice, no issues with lagging. so heres a couple factoids of the movie: 1: The title Super Hero came from the fact that Toriyama forgot the show was called Dragon Ball Super. Thats teh reason for the double supers:p 2: Piccolo`s form is in some way rooted in his Namekian descent, the mark on his back resembels the shape of the Ajisa plant found in Namek. Also remember that it was Kami who first made Shenron on Earth so maybe the wish has some special effect on Piccolo. 3: Gohans new form is called Gohan Beast, Toriyama said so cuz his "inner beast is awoken". Toriyama also said that Piccolo`s now around the same strenght or at least league as Goku. & obviously Gohans beyond that 4: Cell Max was also not complete, Tori said that if he was then his powered eclipse even Broly. Lastly this movie is speculated to serve the purpose evening the playing field of power. Making more characters relevant again power wise for future threats so its just not the Goku/Vegeta show. Anyway great reaction:)

I feel like his overall thoughts of the movie wouldn’t change. But the movie hits better in English rather than in sub. Like the gammas are much more enjoyable in English. I think that the humor they display doesn’t hit as hard when you read it vs when you hear it. I enjoyed them much more in English. I literally said when I watched the movie that it felt very fanfictiony but I like fan fiction so I enjoyed it nonetheless haha. I died at the freeza 360 though I didn’t notice upon first watch

I really liked the movie. It was fun at the end of the day. The explanations for orange piccolo and Beast Gohan should have been explained more. However, it did a good job with not having Goku and Vegeta being a focal part of the story and still being interesting/fun.

Honestly while Goku and Vegeta did have to train to get farther into god territory Goku only got there cus he retained the power from the super saiyan god ritual transformation, so in dragonball it always come down to who has more potential freezer training for 4 months gains more power than goku training for 4+ years cus latent potential which Gohan always had. Aka the usual dragonball bs
