Usual schedule but no Made in Abyss this week, and adding Cyberpunk: Edgerunners DUB! We watched Overlord Season 4 (Ep 12), Steins;Gate (Ep 21 - 24), and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners (Ep 1 - 4). STEINS;GATE GOATED! WE ARE DONE WITH THE ORIGINAL ANIME! Also, Edgerunners FIRE AF!

if you go back in comments spanning a few months every request ive made kol went out of his way to do the opposite. do not gas light me kol is a king of spitefulness and the fact he decided to start doing multiple seasons of anime binging when i said to go right kaiji after 1 season of of mono and other trash anime proves it

it just fits better. There's not really a gap in the quality of the performances. Night city just is in america and there are actual japanese who do speak japanese. It does bother my immersion a bit when everyone speaks it, even when it's not realistic. That's all it is, the sub is fine if you like it. Also all the slang that is really relevant to the world doesn't really carry over.

People have done the comparison between dub and sub for Cyberpunk, the Subtitles are done by an amateur who doesn't do their job fully or slacking off, I have Japenese friends translate and the subtitles are just flat out wrong in some of the scenes.

I personally don't recommend Steins;Gate 0. It actually made me enjoy the overall series less. As far as I know the writers for Zero were different as well, and you can tell, cause a lot of the characters etc. feel off. Personally I'd recommend the movie, but other than that nothing else. I believe that is for the better

Steins Gate 0 Visual Novel is way better and is on the same level as the original. the anime had the issue of adapting 5 Routes simultaneously.
