Trial By Conquest — Update 3 (Patreon)

I've decided that I'm going to start posting 'draft updates' rather than 'chapter releases' since many of the changes I'm making include going backwards to stuff I've done before. I'll list out the updates I'm making in bullet point form, probably with links to what's been changed.

So, for this update, we have:

• One new scene introducing Alfric's parents (1,500 words). 
• One deleted scene (the info dump after the dragon scene at the start).
• And some alterations to other scenes to make the new scene flow better.

I'm also planning another update in the next twenty-four hours with at least the next scene.

At some point I'm also going to find a good point to break these scenes up into separate chapters, since we're currently over 5,000 words and that's a tad too long for a single chapter, I feel.
