Ladies and Gentlemen!

After the feedback from the first chapter came in, I decided I needed to back up a bit, and not try to cram so damn much world building into the very first major scene of the book. Basically everyone who read the second scene was massively confused, and that isn't acceptable. The first scene seems fine. So we're starting again from the beginning of scene two.

Multiple scenes, each introducing a core part of the story, rather than ramming it all down the reader's throat at once and hoping to hell they can swallow it all.
