Hi there,

When you joined the Patreon campaign, you probably noticed that my tag line is 'Creating Fantasy Worlds to Lose Yourself In.'

The reason it isn't something like, 'Writing Awesome Fantasy Novels' is because one of my ambitions is to be able to add more visual elements into my story-telling, as well as literary.

The only slight problem with this is that I don't have nearly so much practice with art as I do with writing. However, this was also true of writing before I started publishing fan-fiction. My first work, Past Soul Bind Performance Not Indicative of Future Prophets, was very nearly the first fiction I'd ever written, and was, by the standards of my writing today, atrociously bad.

If I hadn't published it though, I almost certainly wouldn't be where I am now. Publishing forces me to continually up my game, so if I ever want to be able to produce artwork of the kind I envision going with my writings, the course I must take is clear. I must publish.

These pieces won't be great. Already I'm looking at the above work and thinking about all the things that didn't work out. But that doesn't matter so much.

This caption style artwork is an experiment.

I hope you get some small enjoyment out if it.

In terms of Patreon reward levels, the caption works are going to be early-access, and available to Rare Patrons and higher. After a month or two, I'm going to make an account on some artwork sharing website and make them available there as well.

The versions without the captions will only be available to epic patrons and higher, and they won't be on early-access. They'll only ever be available through Patreon.

That's the current idea, anyway. We'll have to see how it goes.

Please let me know your thoughts!
