Yeah, what Crierie said. I'm really, really hoping that they'll eventually expand upon the "realistic pregnancy" option. As it's right now, they'll give birth after a certain amount of time, and then you lose 20 LP with the woman in question and pay 200 bucks per week and kid as financial support. Considering that none of them even bring up marriage in the pregnancy reveal scenes, losing LP upon birth is a little weird - especially if you made them SSs, since having a child out of wedlock is really the least unconventional thing they do with you in that case. If Andrealphus let's say, added the chore option of doing your part in raising/actually spending time with your child and you got a LP penalty if you don't do that at least say, once a week - THAT would actually make it completely realistic, and perfect in my opinion.
