Pregnancy & childbirth poll (Patreon)

Hi guys,

Ok, this subject I am pretty torn on so I decided to ask you to decide on the future for that part of the game.

Currently pregnancies last until the end of the game but several players asked for them to have a end. Unfortunately adding features and stories for taking care of kids during the game is out of the scope I want to do.
So here are the 2 options I offer:

  • Change nothing: Pregnancies stays the way they are right now.
  • Childbirth: Pregnancies end after three months, if you did not reach an ending before that you get hit with -25% love and the girl revert to unpregnant.
    After that you'll have to pay child suport every week for each of your kids, if you don't you'll get a LP penalty and if the girl reach 0 she leaves the game.

If the second option is chosen there will be an opt-out button in the options to keep forever pregnancies (and we plan to add a button to disable preg completly).

So here you are folks, make your choice.

I got a question. At the moment its not possible to hit the marriage ending with every character. Is there something planed to change this? I mean you dont have to marry the girl you've knocked up but at least it would be a nice advantage if this would be possible with every character. Even if it is not planed for some of them you could connect this with tasks or stats you have to fulfill. Just in case that it shouldn't get too easy to get everyone into a wedding.

We should get an option under demand where they pay us child support, let them treat us like the kings we are for taking them out loving them and dicking them down

Honestly, if there's an opt-out button then I see no harm in adding the system.

Why not just have the girl leave the game temporarily to "give birth" and then come back unpreg?

that is actually a pretty good sounding system just add an opt out and its golden

I could imagine a [Dead Beat Dad achievement] in the Steam Version. with 10 or more women leaving your game due to unpaid child support.

maybe it would be better to add random sex scenes (some random others based on experiences) in different locations, park, disco, toilet bar ...

I'm uninterested in both pregnancy and childbirth, so I'm voting 'change nothing' since it will consume valuable coding time. Though you should go with the majority vote, whatever it is, and I'd appreciate the 'disable pregnancy mechanics entirely' option, myself.

So you're not going to add any story or anything for childbirth since you never really planned on it. I get that. However, and hear me out on this, what if you did add that sort of thing much later down the line (i.e. after the you've currently planned for the game is done and the game is finished)? I know I'm probably in the minority, but the whole notion of being a father in this actually sounds intriguing. Like you, the kid and mom all hang out at the park or something, you have to watch the kid while mom goes to do something, y'know, things like that? Now obviously it would be time consuming as hell, which is why, if you do take it into account, definitely wait until the game is done to really think on how to do it. But hey, this is just my thought process.

On another note, why would you by default lose 25 LP for childbirth? The girls almost always love hearing you say you want to raise a kid with them, so why would that hit you with a penalty to LP?

Because you didn't marry or otherwise reach an ending with them before the end of the pregnancy so you made them single mothers.

I see no downside to adding it. Since you plan to have on and off on top of the childbirth opinion.

I'm just currious on how the child suport payment would work? auto like paying rent or going into and option like cleaning to get it to be auto? what if you knock up the same girl twice will the CS then also go up or is there a cap? what will the CS be per child?

Just received an email inviting me to vote, presumably getting it later than some because of the tier that I'm on, only to find when I tried to do so that it wouldn't accept my vote. Then I saw in fine print: "Poll ended Nov 13, 2020·555 votes total". Anyway, as a pregnancy fetishist, I'll be happy so long as there's the option to keep pregnancies lasting indefinitely. People may say that's unrealistic, but then so is having 120-day years.

If the girl can't marry at this version,it's best to change nothing.If the girl can marry ,This version should enable Childbirth for the girl.
