Hi Everyone!

Today we finally have Bayonetta's cover reveal! I hope you guys like it! I can't wait to finally have our Butterfly Queen dominating and dominated! x)

Today, I'd like to share something a little different than usual! and it's about my biggest inspiration of all time: Samurai X! Also, known as Rurouni Kenshin! x) (Do we have any fans here? x)

(Personally, I love learning about my favorite artists! so if you're interested about my inspirations, do continue reading! x) If not, feel free to skip to the cover arts below! :)

Rurouni Kenshin (specifically the OVA) was released in my area as "Samurai X: Trust & Betrayal" and has long since been my favorite work of fiction of all time.
The first time I watched Kenshin was almost 15 years ago today, and while the anime series gave a long lasting impression, the OVA continues to inspire me today.
From the detailed artwork, the storytelling, the music, the dialogue: The film is a complete work of art, and inspires me to continue being an artist today. I hope one day I can work on a project as compelling, emotional and wonderful as the Rurouni Kenshin OVA! (Who knows! Maybe that's why I love writing stories over just creating art! x) But for now, I'll have to stick with our tight monthly schedules! x)
If you guys love thought-provoking anime with action and mature themes, consider giving the first 10-minutes a watch! The tone is geared more towards mature audiences however! so don't expect anything Shonen! x)

What are some of your most inspiring works of fiction of all time? What did it inspire in you? Are you an artist too? I'd love to see your work! x)

~ Have a safe and lovely weekend everyone! And I'll have new works to come soon!

~ The beginning ~

~ This movie has some of the most beautifully drawn hands and attention to detail to hair

~ Story in Compositioning (Not a real word) <33

~ The feels ~ (...And again, that beautiful attention to hair and eyelashes)

~ One of the most powerful visuals I've ever experienced. Among my favourite artworks of all time.

Thank you for sticking with me if you made it this far! I don't have many opportunities to speak about my passions, so I thought I'd share it here today! x)

★ Have a great weekend guys!

Saw this OVA a long time ago on VCD. So sad it didn't make it into the original anime series, but I guess too many filler episodes killed the show before the manga could catch up.

Glad to have another Rurouni Kenshin fan here too Binod! :D And I agree! I would've loved to see a more detailed and explicit version of Kenshin's past! I'm just grateful we got to see it in glorious movie quality for the OVA! x) And now we'll get to see it in the live action too! later this year! :D (Are you a fan of the live-action Kenshin? x) Have yourself a safe and lovely weekend Binod! ^___^

Roku006

I used to be fan, though I kinda stopped keeping up with it (and I mean keeping up with it in a general sense, since the anime and manga is all wrapped up), when I heard what happened to the creator.
