Hey, it's been a while since one of these. I figured I should do blogs more often this year.

Speaking of which, Happy New Year! Welcome 2020 the year of rat. Hope you all are having a great one.

A lot has happened during last year, mostly negative stuffs irl on my end towards the end of the year and looking back I handled them kinda ok... minus the fact that I'm super slow on catching up with Patreon's batches. I still need to find a way to increase the speed. I really don't want to drop the quality but may be I have to do that just a bit. Hopefully not.

I gotta go visit my parents' house quite often recently due to personal stuffs so I bring my laptop with me and got into SFV again since Champion Edition just came out. Not that I have a lot of time with it but logging into the game and play some ranked match an hour or two a day kinda help me keeping myself sane you know? I'm still just Ultra Bronze but It's fun to be enjoying fighting game again. I'm having so much fun with Alex. Any of you here play SFV? Who do you main?

I also am binge rewatching Friends again. It's still my favorite sitcom ever, and for the anime/manga side I've recently watched Haikyuu and caught up with the manga. Been a fun ride. I could say this is my most favourite sport shounen series ever since Hajime no Ippo's manga hasn't been great recently.

So how are you guys? If you're up to anything cool please share in the comment. I will try to reply to all of them.

Hope you don't need to lower quality, even temporarily. I support you due to your quality, and I think everyone here knows you can't rush perfection.

I'm on vacation in Japan right now with a friend, which has been a nice change of pace. I usually don't get out much but I spent the first four days at comiket and the rest so far has mostly been spent in Akihabara. I play DOA6 and I've been able to play the arcade version a bit. It's on a multi-game cabinet with a stick that has a square gate and swaps two buttons, so it hasn't been the easiest to play, but I'm still having fun playing with my friend and online since nobody else plays it. It's pretty disappointing to have someone sit down next to you just to play puyo puyo instead. Btw I main NiCO and Honoka. I do see SFV in all of the arcades but most people seem to prefer the older ones. I've seen a few episodes of friends and didn't like it very much. I've seen every episode of Seinfeld. Therefore, Seinfeld is a better show. I'm kinda behind on anime at the moment because I had to do a lot of extra work before I left for vacation, but I'm excited for a few things next season. There's even a new season of Haikyuu (which I have never seen, but I do enjoy sports anime on occasion.) I hope the new year treats you well. I personally think of Patreon/fantia/fanbox/etc. as a way to support artists if you have extra money. Everyone's got stuff going on and I think it makes more sense that patrons help you when you're having a hard time rather than giving you extra work to do. I say you can take as much time as you need.

I will definitely try not to. It's just that I have been focusing too much on making every little bit of detail as perfect as I could even in the places nobody would notice and that slows down my progress enormously compared to early states of my Patreon campaign. I really need to find a way to improve my working speed.

Thanks a bunch mudknight. I hope you have great fun on your Japan trip and that sounds amazing. I have my plan to do some Japan vacations with my gf but still haven't found a right occasion to cuz of my works, and yeah I still believe the most plated SF arcade is 3rd Strike if the places have them installed. I have yet to watch Seinfeld but heard only good things about it. May be I should try it soon.
