I posted this on my Twitter so some of you guys might have already seen it, but I'd love to elaborate this a little more here!

All of these 8 are my art heroes. This is not based on my art style but they inspired me one way or another.

-------------------

  • Hyung Tae Kim - Korean artist who was my first art hero since my early highschool years. Found his work through a game called Magna Carta and his godlike and unique painting style and mind blown character designs got me interested in focusing on drawing human figures and I was set out to become a character design artist because of him.

Some of you might have known him from being the head artist of the MMORPG game called Blade and Soul which later left the team and is now making his own game called Destiny Child, a widely successful mobile game.

Akihiro Yoshida - The main character designer of my all time favorite game, Final Fantasy Tactics series who was admired by Tetsuya Nomura of SquareEnix and recently made himself well known as a character design for Nier:Automata. His art style and stylish sense are so superb and unique with mild, gentle, yet cool and just enough amount of flashiness.

  • Hirohiko Araki - The one and only mangaka who created Jojo's Bizarre Adventure which is still ongoing for 30 years. Jojo is my most favorite manga series. I grew up with it. This manga forged my childhood memory and made me become myself today. I found myself developing a strange way of thought process and using way too many life lessons I got from Jojo in my daily life than I thought. Hirohiko Araki is such an inspiration.

Shiwasu no Okina - I found Shiwasu no Okina circle's work around my early highschool and this group of artist got me really inspired and interested in drawing and becoming a hentai artist. They have such a unique art style (especially since 15+ years ago) and very high level outstanding erotic scenes and could surprise you with creativity in making hentais. Their works have never been cliche. If you have never experienced reading their works yet, you should. Their hentais are just mind blown. Too good.

  • Tamagoro - I found out about Tamagoro pretty late they have been rising to become my inspiration super quickly. This highly praised hentai mangaka didn't rise to fame just because their hyper lewd arts alone, but their hentai mangas are so good. Tamagoro is godlike when it comes to erotic conversation dialogues and sequences. You should check out their works if you have not.

In term of hentai mangakas who arouse readers really well with supreme erotic dialogues, I'd recommend Sago-Jou, Xration, and MTSP as well.

Asanagi/Fatal Pulse - Who wouldn't know Asanagi at this point? What are you doing with your life as a hentai fan? He is a god among us. I've been loving his works since the era of very early Victim Girls series. Asanagi's unique body shape and how they draw facial expression are ascending. I also love the sass of him dealing with death threat recently if you know what I mean. I just love this guy so much.

  • Yusuke Murata - Most of you might know him by the adapted artist of the infamous One Punch Man manga, but I adored this man's work since his original Shounen Jump long series debut, Eyeshield 21. Yusuke Murata outleveled EVERYONE in Shounen Jump when it comes to drawing level at that time (and still does, if he still is on Shounen Jump). His understanding of anatomy, action scenes and power, and how to write a good manga is just... godly. No one could do an action manga justice as he does. Plus, he also like fan works. He adores them. Yusuke Murata once attended comike and was disappointed by how little amount of Eyeshield 21 doujinshis and hentai merchandises got. That fact made me admire him even more.

Krenz Cushart - Found his works on DA ages ago and he still went by just Cushart, but he was already really good at that time, but not to the point of today where he basically is a worshiped figure of the desaturated coloring style. Krenz's understanding of color, anatomy, and compose is unmatched. He shaped his way through crazily massive amount of learning and practicing. He's the perfect example of a human who achieved an art god status by sheer level of training. He's basically a Saitama of art community. I highly recommend check out his works if you have not.

---------------------------------

That's it for the thorough elaboration. Hope you guys had fun or at least discover some new artists to follow, and possibly know me a little better by knowing what kind of artistic figures I adore!

FF Tactics really blew my mind when I played it a few years ago. I didn't expect the story to be so well written and deep. Agrias feels like a proto Saber (and the fanarts playing on their similarities are hilarious). I can totally second what you said about the art style. It looks so elegant and natural despite the exotic designs (Vieras, Bangaas etc) and hairstyles. It's not that over the top fantasy style and it really helps with immersion I think. Granblue's style is very similar and that's why it caught my eye at first. In the hentai department (design wise, not plot wise) I really like Okumoto Yuuta (you have to like round faces but I do) and Kojima Saya (for those super feminine faces, though she uses too much sextoys for my taste). Sayori deserves a mention too (though it's all in on cuteness the amount of details is quite nice and I especially like the way she draws hair). Thanks for this post I'll definitely check out the ones I don't know and the works you recommended!

Hideo Minaba (Granblue Fantasy's artist) was in Akihiro Yoshida's artist team, too when they were making FFT so that's a thing. GBF's art style is super unique and I'd love to include him into the list, too but I gotta admit I dislike some designs in GBF as well. Will definitely check out all the hentai artists you mentioned for sure!!

What about RAITA? His art style is awesome especially the proportion of body.

Raita is great. I just wouldn't count him as my hero.
