"We have always delved into dangerous and dark places to find that which glistens, the riches that inspire our hearts with lustful greed. The objects of greed, however, are as varied as those who seek them. For the most loathly and appalling of souls, such desires have been twisted into deviant and heretical obsessions. For one such as this, what hellish place would need to be uncovered to find such aliment to satisfy their corrupt appetency? To what corner of what plane of existence would one seek out such madness?

Upon the gates of Their realm lies the maw of the Old God, its desecrated skull greeting all who approach Them. Leading to the maw, such miserable creatures can be found appealing for Their attention, crying out perverse prayers and deranged chants.

"We curse our mortal forms, and we beseech the immortals to grace us with their gifts! Eagerly we walk into the jaws of the beast, and twice as eagerly we serve! Oh, Slayers of Titans, we are yours to scourge. Give us not an ounce of mercy, for we deserve none. Wretched are we, and wretched are our masters. Life everlasting is your promise, and the endless torment of your rewards, immaterial and forever!"

Surely, nothing but suffering could be beyond the maw. Almost certainly, no rewards could be found in this forsaken land but those of perpetual maltreatment and agony. So why do so many zealots come seeking Them?"
