Sarcophagus Oasis (Patreon)

".... and as we beheld, we were encompassed by the sense of tranquility that this chamber contained, as if encapsulated from it's dark and ominous surroundings otherwhere found. An oasis of peace in a labyrinth of terror and darkness that we had thus far endured. At first, surrounded by the calm aura emanating from the water, the knowledge that we had delved into a tomb had fully escaped us. 

The inscription on the sarcophagus spoke of a young lady of noble quality, taken early from life, and her everlasting passion for the waters. Ages agone she was left to her final resting place, and the pool built in her memory. 

Now, somehow, in the darkest of places, as if a beautiful gesture was made by the hands of fate, the pool remained filled to the brim. Even long after no one remained to maintain the grounds, groundwater fell from the cracks above as if to honor her memory with eternal replenishment of the pools she so desperately loved..."
