Eastern Temple (Patreon)

"Years ago, an old mage once said, “to truly know oneself is the greatest strength of all”. Then, to prove it, he built this temple.

Though it appears traditional on the outside, the temple’s interiors are constructed entirely by a complexity of mirrors. The mage named the temple ‘Temple of Bull’, after the stand-off it provokes with oneself.

The mirrors inside the temple famously reflect the ‘shadow self’ - the darkness within ourselves from which we turn our backs. To endure the sight of the shadow self is one of the most gruelling things an individual can do, but, if you can accept and conquer it, your true purpose will be revealed to you.
