One of the greatest things since taking this small lull in content making is that I could finally tackle an issue that I’ve had since I moved a year and half ago. When I was running my normal creation speed I didn’t feel like I had time to tackle a larger more important project like this which led to me struggling pretty hard.

I realized I didn’t have a crafting space that I had made for myself. I have my desk but that’s covered in my PC and so well I can’t exactly make armor and sew on that. And for a year and half I got by but I didn’t truly MAKE anything like I used to .

I felt uninspired because I had no space to be inspired on. BUT!! At the place I’m renting there was this horribly unfinished room, that our landlord said we could do literally whatever with. At first we were gonna paint and reflow it, but that was extremely time consuming for time I didn’t have and all that work and money for a place I would eventually leave didn’t sit right with me. So I left the space basically empty all this time. But recently I’ve relaized I don’t need to repaint, or refloor it. I could make this work with stuff I can move out and it’ll be great.

So this month I was working on setting all this up, and it’s been a lovely distraction from A BUNCH of family emergencies that happened as well as a family member passing. Away. I Had to remove trash, figuring out electrical, take staples and nails out of the floor and wall. And yeah now after a bunch of work, this is where I am at! Still smells like weird old house and there is no heat up there but it is SPACE to be used! Look at the table space! So happy to find tables from estate sales and goodwill! And I have various background I can change up for shooting too!

I can finally take full body photos which is amazing!!!!

So I cant even begin to tell you how much this project means to me

This month may have not brought many photos but this was truly so so important to my future in art.

I live pretty far away from any large town/city, don’t have access to studios, or other urban connivence so the fact I have this shoot space for myself is truly incredible and I feel so so lucky.
