This is a map that shows if you go back 500 and 2000 years, how much of the world is inhabited by people who are genetically different from the current inhabitants. The yellow section is regions where in the last 2,000, there has been a genetic shift in the dominant population and red is in the last 500.

I thought there would be at least some changes in genetics in areas that were arabized after the rise of Islam, Anatolia after the arrival of the Turks, the Swedish colonization of western Finland, not to mention modern Israel and many others.
