The game project is having it's hiccups, but nothing too bad. I'm trying to get some of the pain in the ass stuff out of the way first; such as the dialogue system, animation locomotion and save states. From prior experience, it's best to get these things ironed out first before the creative stuff if you're soloing a project like this. I've been relearning a lot of the Unreal Engine since they changed so much, but they made some things more streamlined.

As of right now, Poppy is nearly the exact same as you saw in the animation except for her ear fluff. Apparently that is a deep resource sink. I might make something to replicate it, or it may not be a big deal.

wonderfull design absolutly love it. as for the dialoge i feel your pain but take your time if you want to share some of the load just tell us to come up with some cringy lines for you (given you give us a headsup on the storydirection. im sure it would be hilarious XD)
