Let me just say that first of all, I understand that while this is a Disney production, even though it is under Marvel Studios, I am still going to be judging this as a She-Hulk movie. For this review, I am going to be talking about everything that is She-Hulk within this movie/tv show. I won't lie to you guys, when I saw this first teaser, I gave myself a big facepalm in the head because when I was talking to Salandra about this, I almost blew a gasket. His response was "what did you expect, this is Disney dude". My response back was, "and that's the problem". Disney is more focused on making She-Hulk more for kids than it is for adults. I don't know about you guys but I had a great time watching She-Hulk in previous incarnations of her. They were able to apply the audiences of both kids and adults. I think the Hulk animated series is actually on Disney+ which blows my mind because that is the version that they want to get rid of. Ugh, honestly guys I was not happy with this first trailer but without further a do, lets get into it.

                                  1.  The Previous And Almost Perfect Incarnation of She Hulk

First, let me just say that I love the shit out of these versions of She-Hulk. This is almost the perfect version for both kids and adults. The kids can love the hulk with the savageness and brute destruction, while the adults can love the sexiness and savageness of the She-Hulk. Now that's not to say that both kids and adults can't love the characters for the same reasons. However, this version of the hulks are not only entertaining from the bruce and jennifer walters standpoint but in their hulk versions as well. The only problem that I have while not a big issue but sort of a nick pick is the changing of the voices. If you have ever seen code name kids next door and inspector gadget from the 80s up to the 2000s. The female who plays number 5 and penny is the same voice actress who plays jennifer/she hulk. Don't get me wrong, Cree Summers is a great voice actress, but the way she acts as her is more playful sexy than more savage sexy. The other voice actress got her voice down perfectly with the classic line "its as if someone has lighten my fire".

I mean what else is there to say that hasn't already to be said about this version of she hulk. It is loved by kids of the 80s and 90s, its loved by adults now a days as we grew up. This was so fantastic, especially in the transformation aspect.

                                 2.   MARVEL'S BIGGEST PROBLEM WITH SHE HULK DISNEY+

Moving onto She Hulk on Disney+, you would think that they would take the first portion of jennifer walters trying to control her savage she hulk side extremely hard and difficult. Yes, I understand that she hulk is technically suppose to have control of her powers. But here is the thing about the previous incarnations, THEY ARE CARTOONS!!!. It is totally understandable to contradict and create a double standard with cartoons because they have been doing that for decades.

Why She-Hulk could control her full side is because that she wasn't exposed nearly as much as bruce was. Keep in mind this was a blood transfusion that made her control her savage side instead of a fucking explosion. However, they leave it in the air with why she doesn't want to turn back into jennifer, almost like her hulk side is doing exactly what bruce banner feared to where he wouldn't want to turn back into himself after a hulk out. However, it seems that Marvel is going the more kid friendly route like they did with Iron man 3 and Black Widow. In other words, they are playing something as serious as turning into a giant green monster who smashes thing for laughs.

Exactly like they did with the Mandarin, Task Masker, and Black Widow. This technically was the biggest problem with how they are doing the Hulk after Age of Ultron now a days. Before you guys be like oh its Disney that's how they play, anyone can still make things for adults as much as for kids.

Speaking of which, why in the fuck are they trying to make this production a comedy! It is so frustrating where I saw them recreating a variation of the 70s version of the Hulk. I don't understand why they think doing a pg13 version of deadpool who already makes a ton of cameos and references was a good idea. Keep in mind that they did try to do that with deadpool and it failed fucking miserably! Another problem that I have with this film is them wanting to increase an unrealistic amount of feminism in the film. Now, don't get me wrong again. I don't mind feminism when it comes to their own sexuality and character. However, you can't tell me that she doesn't have inner demons because she is a woman. That is so farfetched and unrealistic that it drives me nuts just thinking about it. Feminism done right can be amazing and empowering.

I feel like if your gonna do feminism show that a woman can be badass, savage, sexy and smart while also taking a physical standpoint. Again, the women in the 90s hulk animated series did this so perfect, they even had an episode which was one of the most memorable episodes in the whole damn series called "the fashion warriors". And if that reference is something that doesn't make sense, look at how bad the Star Wars Sequel trilogy handled feminism. While the original trilogy handled it perfectly from episode 4-6 with Leia. I quoted star wars because I am a huge star wars fan.

                                                            3.   THE CGI IS FUCKING TERRIBLE!!!

I don't know what has been the problem with Marvel and designing the Hulk using CGI but it gets worst and worst as the years go by and this year is full proof of it. It is one thing to show the goofiness of your effects with the 70s and 2000s live action versions because the concept was already a silly and some what depressing concept. However, we had two perfect versions of the hulk in 2008 and 2014, and you expect me to accept the shitty effects that we are having in 2022!

I mean look at the hulk and how shit he looks. I don't care that mark ruffalo is getting older, you can do so much more with this character than you already are doing. Even Mark Ruffalo shares his frustrations when it comes to his character because he is under contract not to complain and bitch about how Disney is constantly fucking him over. Ugh! This was the biggest problem that I had with the film. It wasn't the stupid ass story, or the bad symbolism and references, it was the CGI.

                                                          4. The Main Actress Of She-Hulk

This is the last and shortest part of the review. No disrespect to Tatiana Maslay because I'm sure she is a decent actress. However, she is clearly the wrong casting for this film. I actually heard that they wanted Alison Bree originally to take on the role of both She Hulk and Jennifer walters. Which technically would have made more sense being that she is versatile and more sexy than Tatiana Maslay. Tatiana is more of a serious actress and Alison is more of a comedy actress. Both can play different roles but I think if you wanted to go for the route that Marvel wanted, Alison would have been the better choice.

       5.  Comparing Marvel Final Version to Female Mutant Universe Parody Version

To be fair, it isn't fair comparing a pg13 portion to a rated R version. However, that doesn't mean you can't be appealing to both adults and kids. Let me be very clear! My version is not meant for kids at all. It has sex, lust, nudity and a variety of adult things that are meant and relatable for adults. It really makes you think from the inside out about relationships, feelings and confidence. However, Marvel's final version is making things for small children and acting like if your funny, you can get away with almost anything. That is not the case with something that has been extremely explored so well in the past.

So there you have it. That is my review of Disney+'s She-Hulk. Let me know of your comments with what they are trying to do. Do you like it or hate it? Do you think i was too harsh or no? Obviously, we have to wait for the 2nd trailer to come out but oh well.
