Interface Episode 16 + Misc Updates (Patreon)

Currently half way through animating episode 16 of Interface, but in particular I have composed two musical tracks to accompany it that I am eager to share when it comes out. It's more cinematic, but appropriate for Henryk's return home. I just want to say thank you again for your support, as it has allowed me to invest in some of these crazy nice Violin/Cello/Viola instrument libraries. I won't say anything more about the episode so as to not spoil it.

A few days ago Karolina and I returned from Ottawa, where "The Cycle of Life" (otherwise known as Soup Son 2) was screened at the Ottawa Animation Film Festival. It definitely got some good laughs! Had the chance to see several dozen shorts and a few features. There is one called "I Lost My Body" that was particularly interesting, that will appear on Netflix Nov 29th - I recommend checking it out if you have the opportunity. Trailer for that is here.

At the OIAF I had the chance to meet Cole Kush who made the "Dayworld" pilot for Adult Swim a year back. Really cool guy and quite funny too. If you haven't seen it here is a link, unfortunately it only works in the US (I can't even preview it myself, maybe use a VPN?).

Also, I'm working on a new poster for Interface except it's going to be 100% hand painted. You can see in the image it is only just started though. In case you are wondering, I used a transparent gesso so that the wood texture might show through in parts. I'm going to post update on the painting periodically until it's finished on the Instagram here.
