Patreon Trouble (Patreon)

Dear faithful readers. The latest 'update' to Patreon's interface for creators appears to have been designed by a room full of monkeys. (No, actually, that's an insult to monkeys). Among other things:

1) Posts used to be created on a single page and I could see the files, tiers, and tags all at once. Now, these are on separate pages, and there is no consolidated view before a post is made. Of course, if they add one, that will be still another click added.

2) The tier to which a post belongs is no longer displayed for the creator. The only way to find it is to edit the post, click through to the second page, click the dropdown, then cancel out.

3) The notifications page which was very useful, is not a hot mess and provides LESS information, and is no longer grouped/organized.

4) The management page for patrons is another hot mess.

I encourage everyone to switch to BuyMeACoffee (horrible name, I know). You'll get your files via (free) sync.com, and they'll simply show up on your device (Mac, Windows, Android, iPad, iPhone). AND you won't be charged VAT or Sales Tax, and all credit card fees are paid by ME, not you.

I understand if you can't switch because you support multiple creators, but I would be very happy if you did. Thanks. I will continue to post to Patreon, because it's not YOUR fault they suck at their one job — helping creators engage with patrons.
