As a fiscally libertarian to moderate Republican I am becoming weary of the bashing of a good friend, George W. Bush (we met when he became managing GM of the Texas Rangers I oversaw dugout security and his game time seating area for the organization.) In my experience, he is one of the warmest and sincere with a wonderful sense of humor and humility, that I have met. And we native Texans are pretty good judges of character. There are no airs about him: what you see is really what you get. As far as a president, I have seen much worse. But setting that aside, I am intrigued with your prologue of "Republic." I think if is approached critically and logically you may have something. Play around with several chapters and where it may be headed and then let us judge the developing direction in order to see if it worthwhile of possibly going in the loo.

My problems are not with Bush to man, but with Bush the politician and the notion of political dynasties.
