This won’t affect the people here that are already patrons(most of them at least), but starting next month I’ll be making some changes to the patreon:

- I’m going to be making it pay-upfront. This means that when you pledge, you’re charged. Wish I could let people have better previews of things (which is why I don’t mind people joining and then leaving the same month) but having what feels like 1/4 of my money disappear at the end of the month because of people repeatedly doing this seems blagh

This should not affect current patrons - You will continue to be billed on the first of every month, and it shouldn’t give you a second charge during the month (It treats the payment you made that month as one FOR that month rather than the one before)

-The raffle tier will be getting changed. Due to patreon’s terms of service I can’t have a raffle prize tier as that falls under gambling in various states, so I’m changing that to a free still render of your choice, for every single patron on that tier or above if they so chose to! Once a month you can get a free render if an idea so strikes you. If you just want the animations, however, do not remove your pledge! Just because I cannot offer a gambling prize as a tier does not mean that I cannot give certain patrons a free animation every now and then

-I’m going to be adding a 1-patron commission slot at $30 or above. You will get access to the previews, votes, MP4s, and the once-a-month free render (but not the free animation) and get a commissioned animation however-many seconds long as your pledge is in $10s ($30 is 3s, $40 is 4s, etc). If you’re going to pledge for this contact me in advance to make sure it’s something I can do because I don’t want to take your money and then tell you its not something i can do

I’m hoping this helps get everything working better around here! Hopefully it doesn’t completely screw me over, because the charge-up-front change is apparently completely irreversable!
