I feel like I gotta let you know that Atlantis is and always has been a fictional location that was only ever a metaphor for the hubris of nations, and not even one of the important ones. In the book, written by Plato around 360 BCE, Atlantis was an empire that ruled all the known world until they displeased the gods, sink into the ocean, The End. In Victorian Times, (1800s), it was very popular for amateurs without expertise on things to write books on things they don’t know about, and someone misunderstood the story of Atlantis as a secret history and wrote a book that said it existed, leading to lots of people’s imaginations being captured and lots of pseudoscientific speculation. Now Atlantis is the first thing people think of with the Lost Advanced Civilization trope, and I wish that was just all harmless fun, but it’s kind of not. It was literally part of official Nazi doctrine that white people came from Atlantis. Nowadays Atlantis gets wrapped up in “Ancient Aliens” and conspiracy theories that are disrespectful of ancient peoples ability to understand and create, and harmful to current living people as they present conspiracy theories as fact on the History Channel.

The prophesies are cool. Took me watching like 5 times( different times) to understand in depth what they all ment.😁

Carabas

The angels have genders. They just don't have a biological sex. They're basically Ken dolls. Biblically accurate, supposedly.

Miriam 090985

The young demon with the bunny-ear-hair is called Eric.😁

It's so cute how involved you get into this!😁😄 welcome to the side of the GO-Obsessed people!😈😇

Katiefrog217

I told myself I'd wait until you posted EP 5 to get on here but my impatience got the better of me haha

Hastur didn't kill these demons, he discorporated them. That's why, among other things, in the previous episode, Aziraphale was not afraid of the Germans. "You can't kill me, there'll be paperwork" 😂❤️

And it's nice that you pay attention to the pronouns used by the characters, I will also add that these beings are sexless, here's an interesting quote from the book: "Many people, meeting Aziraphale for the first time, formed three impressions: that he was English, that he was intelligent, and that he was gayer than a tree full of monkeys on nitrous oxide. Two of these were wrong; Heaven is not in England, whatever certain poets may have thought, and angels are sexless unless they really want to make an effort. But he was intelligent." Do they are just whatever they want. This book and show are really queer ❤️

My favorite bit of trivia in this episode: Neil Gaiman confirmed that the "Discreet Gentlemen's Club" where Aziraphale learned to dance the Gavotte was actually a real location in London called the Hundred Guineas Club, which exclusively catered to gay men. Also, the Gavotte is a dance that actually involves kissing your partner.
