Hey, class.

I’ll be sending out details of the next stream tomorrow, but wanted to just give you a little update on Lore MasterClass.

Firstly, apologies for the slight delay of the second lecture. As many of you will be aware, Rory is going away shortly on tour with This Paranormal Life, so we’ve been prioritising shooting RETRY: Elden Ring, so we don’t run out of episodes while he’s away and it’s not a massive stress when he gets back. So I’ve had to prioritise prepping that, and didn’t have enough time to dedicate to Lore MasterClass to make it as good as it can be.

But now that’s done, I’m delighted to say Lore MasterClass will resume next Sunday evening – that’s October 8th at 7pm BST. I’ll be sending around the link for the stream tomorrow.

And from now on, I’m planning on streaming the lectures on the first Sunday of every month, so there’s a bit of regularity to the show.

What’s this month’s topic?

Last time we covered the basics, and touched on a couple of key events.

But I thought it might serve us well to construct a rough timeline for all the major events of Elden Ring’s story. So we’ll be delving into the pre-history of Elden Ring, covering the arrival of the Greater Will, the reign of Marika, her marriages, the Liurnian wars, the Shattering, and situating actions of the player Tarnished.

This will be really useful for the months ahead, I think, and fun to put together.

And as I said on the first stream, I also want to jump off from where we’re at in the show itself. So I think this will also be a good opportunity to talk about Godfrey and the Golden lineage, since we’ve recently wrapped on Stormveil Castle.

Hopefully that sounds good.

If there’s anything interesting you want to share with me or anything in particular you’d like covered under that topic – let me know in the comments on this post.

Any questions from last time?

And if you’ve got any questions, again – leave them in the comments on this post. I’ll be checking it throughout the week ahead of next Sunday’s stream and will get back to you.

Thank you,

Krupa x

Oh, as a preemptive... GRRM saying things 'happened 5000 years ago', which he has about his work on Elden Ring, is his way of saying it was a long time ago that no one is sure off. He says it about stuff in asoiaf history. 😀

I'm super excited for this! I'm not sure how much more work this might be for you, but when you mention a person or take a quote directly from an NPC, it might be beneficial to include a picture of the character.
