Fantastic to hear about Gav and Krupa's trip to Orlando - we went with extended family in April for a couple of weeks but only did the Disney parks and can concur that the food was immensely better than I ever expected (the Ronto Wrap in Galaxy's Edge and chilli dog from Casey's Corner were a couple of highlights for me) and we did the proper thing and actually bought a take home glaas from Oga's Cantina 😂 Would love to share notes as the Universal parks sound awesome!

Re: Haunted Mansion! Yes. Every. Single. Time. However! It’s not always broken! Because of the nature of the ride (continuously operating), in order for some guests to get onto/off a ride vehicle, they need to stop the attraction.

ALSO don’t get me started on Galaxy’s Edge and the time-setting of that whole space. As an industry there are whole conversations about timelessness and nostalgia as it relates to decisions made at Galaxy’s Edge. I’ll save that convo for the next time y’all are in Orlando lol
